SASSA Takes Solutions to Fernie Local Community

Tuesday, August 27, 2024

The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently going to the Fernie 2 Local community Hall in Mpuluzi to render providers to the community.

SASSA will be rendering solutions for instance new social grant applications, change of payment method, client treatment enquiries, plus the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In an announcement, the agency claimed it is actually alarmed regarding the substantial variety of people counting on social grants for survival.
“The goal from the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to some higher number of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“This can be as a result of lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there is no absolutely functional office committed status sassa to service the area on a regular basis. The support stage established for intervention activities a higher inflow of likely beneficiaries, which makes it tricky to the Workplace to attend to all people who check out a service point.

“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise much more means to permit the servicing of all customers and raise access to Social Assistance products and services,” the agency said.
